Two settings control which records a linked field offers, and they stack — set one or both.
- Records from — draw from the whole table, or from a specific Airtable view. A view brings its own filter and sort, so the picker follows what that view already shows.
- Filter records — add a structured condition of your own on top.
If you set both, they combine: the view’s own filter and your condition both apply, so the picker shows only records that meet both. Setting just one works fine on its own.
Limiting a linked-record picker this way is a Pro feature (Linked-record scoping).
