Why formula, rollup, and lookup fields don’t appear

Air Fill shows the fields it can write to, so fields Airtable calculates for you are left out on purpose.

These fields are meant to be left out

If a formula, rollup, or lookup field is missing from your form, nothing is wrong. Air Fill only shows fields it can write a value into, and those fields are read-only in Airtable.

Which fields these are

Airtable calculates some fields for you, so a form has no value to put in them. These include:

  • Formulas
  • Rollups
  • Lookups
  • Autonumber
  • Created time, and similar computed fields

Because they’re computed, they won’t show up in Manage fields or when you create a form. Everything you can actually fill in is still there, and the calculated fields keep updating in Airtable on their own.
