Let people add a choice while filling

Turn on option-adding so respondents can enter a choice that isn't in the list yet, and know that Air Fill saves it to your base.

Allow new choices during a fill

In a select field’s settings, turn on Allow adding new options. With it on, a person filling the form can add a choice that isn’t already in the list.

Where the new choice goes

When someone adds a choice this way, Air Fill writes that new option into your Airtable field on submit, not just into the form. If you own the base, expect new options to appear in the field over time as people add them. Leave this off for fields where you want the list of choices to stay fixed.

The “Hide Other” option

Hide Other hides a choice that is named exactly “Other.” It applies only to that specific option; it doesn’t hide any other choice you pick.
