When a record already exists, fixing one wrong number shouldn’t mean building a whole new entry. Airtable’s forms only create new records, so today a correction means tracking the record down somewhere else and editing it by hand. Air Fill opens the real record right inside the form: you search for the one you need, change what needs changing, and save.
Only the fields you actually touch get written back. Everything else on the record stays exactly as it was, so a quick status change or a corrected phone number leaves the rest of that row alone.
You also decide which records people can reach. Point the picker at a whole table or at a single view, and add a condition filter so anyone opening the form only lands on the records you want them editing. That keeps the right rows open for updates and the rest of your base out of reach.
