Airtable forms, rebuilt for iPhone.
Air Fill is a native iOS app for building and filling Airtable forms.
Coming to the App Store.
Your Airtable forms, built and filled right on your phone.
Air Fill is a native iOS app for Airtable forms. Build a form right on your iPhone, fill it in a few taps even when you’re offline, and every answer writes straight back to your base.
Air Fill feels native, because it is.
Airtable’s web forms give every field the same grey box. Air Fill makes your forms work like iOS intended.
-
Select cards Single-select becomes big, thumb-sized cards. Tap one and the form moves you on.
-
Text fields Floating labels, and the right keyboard for email, numbers, and URLs — chosen from your field’s type.
-
Conditional fields Flip a switch and the fields that matter appear. Ask only what the answer needs.
-
Ratings & more Stars, sliders, steppers, duration — the native controls Airtable’s web form skips.

The Airtable form complaints you know by heart.
Airtable has a lot on its plate. These are the form gaps we went deep on, answered on your own base.
-
“One form, and then you’re on your own.”
Form Flows runs a set of forms as one guided session, carrying each answer forward to the steps that need it.
-
“Lose signal, and the submission’s gone.”
Air Fill saves each entry on the device and sends it the moment you’re back online.
-
“A form can only ever make new records.”
Open an existing record instead, change what needs changing, and only those fields are written back.
-
“The form logic never goes deep enough.”
Build nested AND/OR rules, show a field only when it’s empty, and hide whole sections or hold Submit until the form is right.
-
“The inputs are basic, and there aren’t many.”
Sign on the screen, scan a barcode into a field, tap big choice cards, and search or create linked records.
-
“You submit, and nothing tells you it landed.”
Get a push the moment a record is created — or send it on to a webhook or an Airtable automation.
Long-standing, widely-reported limitations of Airtable’s own forms. Air Fill is independent and not affiliated with Airtable.
The Airtable gaps Air Fill closes
Start with the one that’s slowing you down.
- You pay for everyone you share with Every person you invite to a base becomes a billable Airtable seat.
- It doesn’t work offline Airtable has promised offline since 2016 and still asks for a signal before you can work.
- Airtable’s mobile app is painful Airtable’s own app is slow on a phone, and building anything real sends you back to the desktop.
- Airtable’s forms are too basic Native Airtable forms cover the essentials and stop there.
- Airtable forms can only create, never update An Airtable form makes a brand-new record every time — it can’t edit one that already exists.
- You can’t capture a signature Airtable forms have nowhere to collect a signature.
Keep filling when there’s no signal.
Every entry saves on the device and sends itself the moment you reconnect. Fill ten forms in a dead zone and they line up and send in order when you resurface.
A real signature, drawn right on the phone.
Add a signature field to any form and collect a finger or Apple Pencil sign-off. Air Fill saves it to the record as an image, ready for the waiver, the delivery, or the inspection.

Tap a card, and the form moves you on.
Single- and multi-select become big, thumb-sized cards. Pick one and Air Fill carries you to the next question, so a form fills in a few taps.
One form can do a lot.
The rest of what Air Fill brings to a form — grouped so you find yours fast.
- Break a long form into pages you swipe through A long form becomes a handful of short pages with Back and Next, so the person filling it always knows where they are.
- Edit a record, not just create a new one Pick an existing record, change what needs changing, and save — only the fields you touched are written.
- Run a set of forms as one guided session Line up the forms an intake needs and run them in order, carrying the work forward from one to the next.
- Show each field only when it applies Reveal a field on a single value or on nested all/any conditions — or show it only while it’s still empty.
- Create a record and its linked records in one submit One form can create a parent record and the linked children that belong to it, across several tables, in a single submit.
- Find, filter, and create the records you link to Search a big table, look a record up by ID, read links by name, and create a new one without leaving the form.
- Limit a linked field to just the records that qualify Set a condition on a linked field and its picker offers only the records that match, so people reach a short, correct list.
- Add a new choice without leaving the form Need an option that isn’t in your base yet? Add it inline, and it’s created in your Airtable field when you submit.
- Recurring records open already filled in The date, a value you just copied, and the answers you gave last time are waiting when the form opens.
Run a stack of forms as one guided session.
Line up the forms an intake needs — a client, then their project, then its first task — and Air Fill runs them in order. Each arrives as its own step with a clear Step N of N and a Continue that carries you to Finish. A detail captured early, like a signature, rides forward to the steps that need it, entered once.

Questions
Is Air Fill available yet?
It’s coming to the App Store. Start free when it lands, and we’ll post the link here the day it ships.
Do I need an Airtable account?
Yes. You connect your own base with a personal access token, so your data stays in your Airtable and under your control.
Do the people filling my forms need the app or an Airtable account?
Today you fill your own forms on your own connection, and everything writes to your base through your token. Collecting from other people without adding Airtable seats is in development — we’ll mark it live here when it ships.
Is Air Fill affiliated with Airtable?
No. Air Fill is an independent app that works with Airtable. “Airtable” is a trademark of its respective owner.
What data can Air Fill see?
Only the fields you add to a form. It reads and writes through your own token, against the base you point it at — nothing more.
Does it really work offline?
Yes. Submissions are saved on the device and sync to Airtable in the background once you’re back online.
Can I run several forms in a row, or edit an existing record?
Form Flows is here — run several forms as one guided session, with answers carried between steps. Editing an existing record (update mode) is in development; we’ll mark it live here the moment it ships.
What happens to my forms if I stop paying?
They stay put. Your forms and their submissions live in your Airtable base and on your device, so they’re yours whether or not you’re on Pro. Drop to Free and they wait there for you to pick Pro back up.
