A single-select field only offers the choices already defined in your base, so a form is only ever as complete as the list behind it. The moment someone needs a value that isn’t there yet, they’re stuck: pick something close but wrong, leave it blank, or stop filling and go edit the field in the base before they can finish. It’s a small gap, but it’s the kind that turns a two-minute form into a detour.
